This is a broken, cracked and warped antique slag lamp base bottom. Using a combination of heat, hammering and hand forming, we were able to get the base back to a smooth and level appearance. We reinforced the base on the under side and used metal filler to seal any existing crevices. Last but not least, we recreated the 100+ year old patina finish.
