Tiffany accent lamp features a lovely adjustable stained glass shade handcrafted in the old world copper foil tradition and extremely heavy cast iron base with graceful curved arm and convenient base switch. Heavy cast iron lamp base has beautiful rich bronze finish and gold highlights.
Unique lamp of fine quality is extremely heavy and made of thick cast iron for generations of enjoyment.
Shade is mounted on a swivel for adjusting the shade angle up and down - see detailed images. Stained glass lamp shade is completely hand crafted using the classic copper foil technique developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany over 100 years ago.
Each piece of stained glass is cut out by hand.
The border edge of each glass piece is then hand wrapped in copper foil.
All the glass pieces are then assembled together into a lovely pattern much like a puzzle.
All joints inside and outside the lampshade are then artfully secured together by hand with a lovely raised bead of solder.
