Initially, the glass shades seemed to hang straight down.
After inspection, the cherubs should hold the flower stem (glass shade) outward horizontally which requires soldering the stems onto the cherub's hands - 3 cherubs.
After getting well into the repair process, we discovered that the hardware would not support the heavy Tiffany shade which was in two halves.
We modified the hardware and added additional supports so the Tiffany shade would be secure and not fall apart.
We also discovered that the cherubs were extremely unstable so we soldered each one securely onto the circular frame band.
