Slag lamp shade was repaired with 3 new curved panels and top cap reattched and reinforced onto the framework. The frame was heated and reformed back into shape by hand. The top cap was then soldered into the frame. The fractures and joints were reinforced with small copper shims. The broken lamp shade before repair appears in the adjacent photo.
