Slag lamp shade has 3 broken curved panels with the top cap broken out and away from the frame. When the lamp fell and broke, it fractured and warped the frame in several places. To repair this slag lamp shade requires making 3 new glass panels. The top of the frame will be heated and reformed back into shape by hand. The top cap will then be soldered into the frame. The fractures and joints will be reinforced with small copper shims as they are repaired and soldered. The final lamp repair will appear in the adjacent photo after completed.
