Tiffany lamp shade and base were really destroyed but had a deeply sentimental value to our customer. After six (6) months we were able to restore the Tiffany shade, Tiffany base, finish restoration and completely rewire. LAMP SHADE REPAIR SUMMARY:
There were 30 glass pieces broken or displaced from the shade.
There are many splits where the shade is coming apart at the solder joints.
The shade is badly bent and deformed in many places.
The bottom copper frame is significantly detached. LAMP BASE REPAIR SUMMARY:
The base has a four (4) leg body made of thin metal
Three (3) of the legs are completely broken into
Due to the very thin metal, any repair would likely break again
A new base is called for not a repair.
The existing base bottom was used
A new replaced body was created
The modified lamp base will be substantial and well built.
