Lovely Tiffany dragonfly lamp features outrageous green and yellow dragonflies with outstretched wings over a gorgeous field of richly colored stained glass highly decorated with sparkling royal blue glass jewel cabochons, Unique Tiffany dragonfly lamp of fine quality handcrafted Arts Crafts copper foil style. Lovely footed lamp base has beautiful embossed decorations, crafted of one piece cast iron with lovely antique bronze finish.

Dragonfly lamp shade is completely hand crafted using the classic copper foil technique developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany over 100 years ago.
There are nearly 400 glass pieces and each piece of stained glass is cut out by hand.
The border edge of each glass piece is then hand wrapped in copper foil.
All the glass pieces are then assembled together into a lovely pattern much like a puzzle.
All joints inside and out are then artfully secured together by hand with a lovely raised bead of solder.
The soldered joints are then treated with an aged patina.
