This was originally an 1800s hanging oil lamp. Customer wanted t create an electric floor lamp using the antique oil lamp components and 14" wide hand painted dome glass shade. The oil lamp frame was unstable so a brass bar and rods were welded for extra support then built onto a heavy floor lamp base.

    Hi Jim,
    We were sorry your weren't in the store when we picked up our lamp today that you created out of my Grandmother's old oil dinning room lamp. We were so pleased of how it turned out and my mother will be so happy to receive this as her Birthday gift the end of July.

    I sent a picture of the lamp to all my siblings, as this was something we were doing together as a gift for our mother's 92nd birthday and they absolutely loved what you did with the lamp.
