Very cool mid century modern lamp and shade were in dire need of repair. The lamp cord and socket were replaced. The step design metal shade was coming apart. The fabric connections binding the different stepped metal layers were rotten and shredded. New connecting fabric was installed using brass pins from crystal prisms and minature beads from or lamp shade beaded fringe.
