Mission Tiffany floor lamp is very heavy and substantial quality made of cast iron, much heavier than typical Tiffany lamps - NOT resin (plastic) bases.

Beautiful stained glass lamp shades are handcrafted in the same classic copper foil technique developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany over 100 years ago.
Each shade has over one hundred glass pieces, each one cut out by hand.
Each glass piece is then hand wrapped and framed in copper foil.
All glass pieces are then soldered together into a lovely pattern much like a puzzle.
All joints inside and out are then artfully secured together by hand with a lovely raised bead of solder.
The soldered joints are then treated with an aged patina.
