Antique Rainaud Slag Lamp Shade Repair Summary: Instead of repair, customer wanted her damaged antique Rainaud slag shade rebuilt as a mica shade. The flat mica panels at top were cut to fit and installed. The curved mica panels for the sides were bent to fit and installed. H.E. Rainaud Lamp Company of Meriden, Connecticut made lamps during the 1920s.
Rainaud was a well known maker of fine slag lamps, popular among collectors of antique lighting.
