ONLY the top and bottom border bands of the wire mesh have a subtle sprinkling of bronze/copper specks.
The wire mesh itself has a brushed steel color just like the rest of the chandelier.
However the shadows created by the wire mesh give an illusion of a darker color which fools the camera.
