Handcrafted:
- Stained glass lamp shade is completely hand crafted using the classic copper foil technique developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany over 100 years ago.
- Each piece of stained glass is cut out by hand.
- The border edge of each glass piece is then hand wrapped in copper foil.
- All the glass pieces are then assembled together into a lovely pattern much like a puzzle.
- All joints inside and outside the lampshade are then artfully secured together by hand with a lovely raised bead of solder.
- The soldered joints are then treated with an aged patina to match the lamp base.
- Heavy cast iron lamp base has embossed decorations with beautiful rich golden bronze finish and highlights
- Unique lamp of fine quality sturdy all metal lamp has 2 lights
