- Stained glass itself is handcrafted by adding various minerals and metal oxides to molten silica to achieve different colors and effects.
- Stained glass pieces are cut out by hand.
- The border of each glass piece is then framed by hand wrapping in copper foil.
- All the glass pieces are then assembled together into a lovely pattern much like a puzzle.
- All joints inside and outside the lampshade are then soldered together.
- Each joint is then carefully raised to create an artful bronze bead.
- Soldered joints are then aged by patina treatments to match the lamp base.
- Heavy cast iron base provides stability with beautiful rich bronze finishes.
- Turquoise Tiffany lamp is much heavier than typical Tiffany lamps.
