What are UNO Shades ?
UNO shades have either THREADED or SLIP ON FITTERS that fit on downward facing electrical sockets of bridge arm lamps, goose neck lamps, arc lamps and others.
1) THREADED Fitter UNO shades have 1.25" wide fitters that screws onto the electrical socket that hangs down on bridge arm, gooseneck, arc lamps and others.
2) SLIP ON Fitter UNO shades have either 1 3/8" or 1 5/8" fitter hole that slips over the electrical socket that hangs down and held in place by a threaded ring.

There is much confusion between UNO shades and EURO shades.
Euro shades are very different from UNO shades.
EURO shades sit upon an upward facing electrical socket. The fitter is near the bottom of the shade.
EURO shades are common on imported table lamps from Ikea, Crate & Barrel, big box stores and many lifestyle stores.
