This authentic antique lamp circa 1900s is in perfect condition. It is completely rewired with brand new handcrafted silk shantung lampshade. Hand made and hand painted flowers and buds are all present and in perfect condition. Ornate pierced base is genuine brass. The hand formed flowers and buds indicate a very old porcelain lamp circa 1900s.
The lustrous gold accents are only accomplished by using real 22K gold in the paint. This was a fairly common practice early 1900s on decorated porcelain lamps. This unique rich color cannot be duplicated by using pigments alone.
