Uno Shades
UNO lamp shades have THREADED or SLIP ON FITTERS that fit on downward facing electrical sockets like bridge arm lamps, goose neck lamps, arc lamps and others.
TWO TYPES of UNO SHADE FITTERS: Threaded or Slip On
1) THREADED UNO: Threaded Uno fitter is 1.25" wide. It screws onto the electrical socket and hangs down on bridge arm & gooseneck lamps.
2) SLIP ON UNO: Slip On Uno fitter has either 1 3/8" or 1 5/8" fitter hole that slips over the electrical socket. The Slip On Uno shade is held in place by a threaded ring.
Arc Lamp Shades shown below have slip on fitters with either 1 3/8" or 1 5/8" fitter hole.

6-10" Wide - Fits lamps with bottom base width under 9" wide
12" Wide - The most popular size Uno shade fits a wide range of lamp sizes
14-18" Wide - Popular size on larger floor lamps and arc lamps
